French-language education (FLE) in Ontario is a complete network of elementary and secondary schools, colleges and universities offering a continuum of programs and services, of exceptional quality, in French, from early childhood through adulthood. FLE students receive a unique French-language education, because in addition to learning French, they experience authentic francophone culture.
As an agent of change and important partner in our society, FLE sustains the vitality of francophone communities across the province and actively contributes to the development of our society at large. Furthermore, FLE offers its clientele enviable advantages, not the least of which is the chance to become fluently bilingual in both of Canada’s official languages. Ultimately, it opens doors to a world of possibilities for individuals who wish to play an active role at the provincial, national or international level.
